District Goals

 

Communication 

  1. Continue to enhance and expand school and district communications through various platforms. 
  2. Seek input from school community stakeholders through meetings, focus groups, surveys, etc. 
  3. Develop a communication plan with a committee of stakeholders.
  4. Strengthen the school district by including and encouraging interaction and support of the RVHS community. 

 

Curriculum

  1. Use data supported strategies and resources to effectively address student learning loss and promote learning acceleration.  
  2. Continue to collect and analyze common assessment data/benchmarks to refine math and ELA instruction and curricula.  
  3. Explore opportunities to expand or improve intervention models for academic, behavioral and mental health supports in the district.  

 

Climate

  1. Evaluate HIB Process: Conduct an evaluation of the Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) process to identify areas for enhancement.
  2. Culture of Well-being: Survey staff, students and community members using a third party company regarding the area of School Climate and Culture .  Utilize the results to create a committee and a culture that prioritizes the health and wellness of teachers, students and staff.
  3. To implement and engage teachers in a growth focused teaching model utilizing the Danielson Framework for Teaching and Learning. The model is closely aligned to the NJ Teaching Standards. Professional development will be provided.
