  • 8th Grade Updates

Posted by Nicole Ragone on 3/5/2020
    A few updates:
    1. There is an 8th grade Parent Committee Meeting tomorrow night, Thursday, in the ECS library at 6:30. I look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.
    2. RV mailed home placement letters to 8th graders for 9th grade this week. If you did not receive one you should contact RV. I was not given copies of those letters. If you received a letter and your child has an IEP - most likely the boxes are blank - that means their placements will be determined at your end of year IEP meeting at ECS. Please contact your child's case manager regarding that information. If you have concerns/questions about your child's placement or want to waive them up a level or down a level you must contact the department supervisor:
    3. Attached is the field trip permission form. Students will receive this on Friday, but I know nothing makes it home!
    4. Our next big event is the Community Basketball Game on Friday March 13!! If any parents are interested in playing please see the Sign Up Genius Link If you cannot play but would like to help by volunteering please also see the Sign Up Genius Link.
    5. After that event we have the Talent Show on Friday, March 20th!

  • Graduation Photos

Posted by Nicole Ragone on 1/2/2020

8th Grade Cap & Gown pictures will be on Thursday, January 16th.

Please consider looking at past yearbooks to get an idea of what looks best under the gowns.

    Here are the following suggestions:

    • Collared shirt and tie
    • Dress blouse/shirt

The caps and gowns are royal blue, female students will have a gold collar. All things are provided by LifeTouch for the pictures.

When considering hair style, students should keep in mind that they will need to be able to put a graduation cap on their head.

Also, please be on time that day to make sure you get your picture!

We will also be measuring for your caps and gowns that day!
