Ambrose F. Duckett, III
The 2020-2021 school year is Mr. Duckett’s thirteenth in the Eastampton Township School District, and his fifth as Superintendent and Principal. Previously, he was the Director of Instruction, Technology, and Curriculum/Assistant Principal.
Mr. Duckett has worked in four different districts and has taught at the elementary, middle school, and graduate college levels. Additional positions he has held are as a classroom teacher, computer teacher, Affirmative Action Officer, Anti-Bullying Coordinator, and adjunct professor.
He received his BA from Richard Stockton College, his teacher certification from The College of New Jersey, an MS in Organizational Leadership from Cairn University in Langhorne, PA, and a Post-Master’s Certification in Educational Leadership from The College of New Jersey.
He currently serves as a graduate level course instructor at Fairleigh Dickinson University. He has held this position since 2011. Mr. Duckett was previously employed by Educational Testing Services, in Ewing, NJ where he served as a Content Scoring Leader, overseeing the creation of rubrics and supervising the scoring process.
Mr. Duckett and his wife, the Director of Curatorial Services at the African American Museum of Philadelphia, have two sons – Ambrose and Jayden.
