Mrs. Lianne M. Kane brings over 20 years of experience in education to her role as Superintendent, with a career dedicated to nurturing student growth and academic excellence. Her professional journey spans roles as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, curriculum supervisor, principal, and school administrator. With a strong background in early childhood and special education, Mrs. Kane has always centered her work on the belief that all students can succeed with the right support and high expectations.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education, a Master’s degree in Education with a certification as a Reading Specialist, and has completed post-master’s studies in Educational Leadership from Thomas Edison State University.
Mrs. Kane’s philosophy is rooted in putting “Students First. Every Day”. She believes every decision must serve the best interests of the children and that a strong partnership between school and home is essential to their success.
As a wife and proud mother of two children, Aidan and Ava, she understands firsthand the hopes and expectations that families have for their children. She approaches her leadership with the same care and commitment she wants for her own family—ensuring all students have the opportunities, support, and encouragement they need to thrive.
Mrs. Kane values open communication and community involvement. Her door is always open, and she welcomes input and collaboration from families, staff, and community members. Together, she believes we can create a nurturing, high-achieving environment where every child is empowered to reach their fullest potential.
