Mr. Leibowitz is proud to continue serving the ECS community as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director. He brings over 14 years of educational experience at both the middle and elementary school levels and has served as a school leader and educational coach in various capacities. Throughout his career, he has coached a variety of sports, sharing his passion for athletics and teamwork with students across multiple disciplines.

At Eastampton Community School, Mr. Leibowitz is committed to fostering a positive school environment where students, staff, and the community work together to promote respect and help all students reach their fullest potential. He is actively involved in supporting both the academic and behavioral needs of students, collaborating with staff to implement data-driven instruction and student-centered supports. He believes in educating the whole child, emphasizing the importance of social and emotional health to prepare students for success both academically and personally.

Mr. Leibowitz holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, both from Montclair State University. Outside of his professional role, he is an avid sports fan and enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, and two dogs.
