    Day 11-

     

    Language Arts

     

    Listen to the story “When Daddy’s Truck Picks Me Up”.

     

    Watch the Jj video. Practice writing the uppercase letter J. All names start with uppercase letters. Write as many names of a person, item, sports team as you can that start with the letter J. (Example- Jacob)

    What was your favorite part of the story? Write it in your writing journal, and draw a picture to match!

     

    Mathematics

     

    Draw a hexagon. Make a picture out of it. Talk about the number of sides (6) and number of vertices (6) a hexagon has. Trace your finger around the sides of a hexagon.

     

    Day 12-

     

    Language Arts

     

    Reread the story “When Daddy’s Truck Picks Me Up”. Draw your favorite character from the story.

     

    Watch the day two Jj video. Practice writing the lowercase letter j. Find as many things as you can that start with the letter j in your house! Make a list!

    Today is Earth Day! Listen to the read aloud “Just a Gum Wrapper”. Watch the video “Gabriella Earth Day-Sid the Science Kid” to learn about the importance of recycling.

    Write about something you can do to help the earth!

     

    Mathematics

    Watch the three-dimensional shape video to introduce three-dimensional shapes. Go on a sphere hunt in your house. Make a list (pictures or words) of every object that you find that is a sphere. Does a sphere have a flat surface or a curved surface? (curved surface)

    Watch the read aloud video “Best Friends Q and U”. Who is your best friend? Draw a picture of you two playing together!

     

    Watch the day two “qu” video. Try to list five words that begin with the “qu” digraph. Draw pictures to match your words.

    Watch the day two “Zz” video. Sometimes they use the letter z’s to show that someone is sleeping. Draw a picture of someone sleeping with lowercase z’s in a speech bubble!
