Classroom Expectations

Having a successful 6th grade = upholding the Knights CODE and achieving a high level of academic rigor.

  • Behavioral Expectations

    Students are to uphold the principles of the Knight’s CODE: Cooperation, Organization, Determination, Encouragement

    Consequences

    Failure to uphold the Knight’s CODE will result in the disciplinary action as detailed in your school agenda

    Grading Policy

    Tasks are WEIGHTED as follows:

    • 45% - Summative Assessments (major tests, research reports, papers, and projects)
    • 35% - Developmental Assessments (quizzes, classwork, labs, notebooks, journals)
    • 20% - Homework

    Late work will be accepted for partial credit at the teacher’s discretion

    It is the expectation and responsibility of students and parents to monitor grades on PowerSchool

    Absent Work

    It is the student’s responsibility to communicate with the teacher regarding work missed due to absence from class (includes classwork, homework, tests, quizzes, projects, etc.)
